One of my best experiences in life was when my dream came true and I was able to live in an artists' village by the sea for three years. There I also found the time and leisure where I could give my art the space to develop further.

When I start the painting process, I usually have an idea of what the finished picture should look like.

However, this idea is usually thrown overboard as soon as I engage in the intuitive process and immerse myself in my own world, giving free rein to my emotions and feelings.
